Milton R. Ellis Jr.

Milton Ellis joined REACH in April 2022, as the Associate Director of Finance and Administration. Prior to joining REACH, Milton was the Deputy Director of Operations for New Jersey Health Initiatives (NJHI), a statewide grantmaking program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, with responsibility for overall management of NJHI grant-making operations and grants administration, including fiscal oversight of grantees.  

Prior to his position at NJHI, Milton spent 13 years with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, first as a Financial Assistant and shortly thereafter being promoted to Financial Analyst. He was responsible for the financial management of a portfolio of grants totaling approximately $40 million. 

Milton earned a BA in Economics with a minor in Finance from Rutgers University. While in college, Milton worked with the Burlington County Meals on Wheels program, delivering hot meals to isolated senior citizens. Milton enjoys working and mentoring kids and has spent more than 10 years coaching youth football, basketball, baseball, and soccer.
